This system is made up of several sub-systems: Borrow and Return System, Security Portal, Digital Media and Inventory Management. The Borrow and Return System provides an efficient check in/out process. Without scanning books one by one, up to 10 books can be processed simultaneously. The Security Portal generates an alarm and sends message to a security guard when a un-deactivated tag passing through the portal. The Inventory system helps managers to track, check, and sort books and digital media using mobile reader.
