Linux on HP Jornadas
The HP Jornada 568 is a handheld computer based on the StrongARM processor running at 206MHz. The purpose of this project is installing the Linux OS on Jornada 568. This work avoids a future porting of other linux modules, for instance landmark routing protocol, on Jornada.

The installed linux system should be able to manage correctly:
  • LCD screen
  • Touchscreen
  • Wireless 802.11 interface (in both ad hoc mode and with AP)
  • Serial port
  • USB interface
  • IrDA interface
  • Audio card
  • PCMCIA web cam

    It will be useful to have a output of the following information:
  • Battery status
  • Received and transmitted power using a wireless card

    Visual Client for received SNR
    Write a simple program to capture the received signal information from the wireless interface. The user should be able to choose the output format for the data, for instance real time graphical representation or simple text file.
    The program should be written to works in linux and windows system (two version of the same program).
