specialized in the convergence of voice data and multi-media technologies and unified communications
to support advanced business processes in a virtual global society. His experience includes networking
architecture, infrastructure design, call center design, computer telephone, Internet telephony,
unified messaging and wireless communications. His designs incorporate a virtual unified "work anywhere,
work anytime, use the "right device" model that changes how a company conducts business, improves their
bottom line and improves their employees lifestyles. Lee is an energetic, requested speaker who will
entertain you by blending technical field experience and first hand know-how with many years of practical

Lee has served as a director on the board of the Society of Telecommunications Consultants speaking in the
US and Internationally.

Mr. Stautner as Vice President of Technology and New Markets in
Compaq's Office of Strategy and Technology, John Stautner seeds new technology and market strategies. His
role includes serving as Chief Technology Officer for Compaq's Access Business Group. His current initiatives
include broadband and wireless strategies, advanced technology migration from Compaq's Labs, and developing
collaborative technology and business partnerships. Since joining Compaq in 1995, he has served in leadership
capacities for the Consumer Products Group and for the Office of the Chief Technology Officer. He was
responsible for the development and growth of Compaq's Consumer Internet Services business. Prior to that
he developed new entertainment technologies in Compaq's Emerging Markets unit. John Stautner has developed
innovative digital media and computer technologies throughout his career. He received his undergraduate
and graduate degrees at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

VP of Marketing for SBC Wireless, Inc. with national responsibility for product development,

Marketing for SBC's Pacific Bell Wireless operations in Los Angeles, California, the largest wireless market
in the country.

Mr. Rangan is responsible for coordinating Conexant's
Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and Information Technology (IT) activities for all Conexant
locations worldwide. Ashwin joined the Conexant team when it was Rockwell Semiconductor Systems (RSS),
in February 1995, as the Director of BPR and was responsible for successfully launching SAP R-3 in
an industry-leading effort in October 1995. Prior to joining Conexant, Ashwin was a senior manager
for Worldwide Demand Management Systems at AST Computer/Samsung Electronics.

Mr. Day is a Technology Evangelist at Sun Microsystems. He created the
J2ME Archive to help developers build applications and services using Java technology. He manages jGuru's
J2ME and Java Media FAQs. Bill writes frequently about software development and has contributed feature
articles to many sites and publications including CNN.com, ServerWorld, JavaWorld, Dr. Dobb's Journal Software
Careers, Gamasutra, and Sun's site.
Bill speaks frequently on multimedia and consumer device programming. He has presented technical sessions,
seminars, and courses at major industry conferences including SIGGRAPH and JavaOne and teaches Java and
Wireless development as an extension instructor for the University of California Berkeley. Bill is also a
Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform.
Prior to joining Sun, Bill was a software engineer at Silicon Graphics. Bill held fellowships with the
Honeywell Technology Center, Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre, and Lawrence Livermore National
Laboratory. Bill has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and completed one
year of graduate studies in Scientific Computation at the University of Minnesota.
